1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScrollMind ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use ScrollMind. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

ScrollMind is an AI-focused microlearning platform that provides educational content through a scrollable feed interface. The Service includes free and paid courses, interactive quizzes and polls, learning progress tracking, bookmarking, and an AI tutor chat feature (available in paid courses). Course content is curated and may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. The AI tutor provides automated responses to help explain concepts — it is not a substitute for professional instruction or advice.

3. User Accounts

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content
• Abuse the AI tutor feature (e.g., excessive automated requests, attempts to extract system prompts)

5. Intellectual Property

All content on ScrollMind, including text, graphics, and course materials, is owned by BDK Invest sp. z o.o. or our content licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

6. Paid Courses & Payments

ScrollMind offers both free and paid courses. Paid courses require a one-time purchase to unlock full access. Prices are displayed on the course page before purchase.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. ScrollMind does not store your full credit card details — this information is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI-DSS standards.

We offer a 14-day full refund on paid courses, no questions asked. To request a refund, contact us at the email address listed below within 14 days of your purchase.

Paid courses are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. There are no recurring charges or auto-renewals.

7. AI-Generated Content & AI Tutor

ScrollMind's educational content is curated and may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You should not rely on ScrollMind content as your sole source of information for professional, academic, or safety-critical decisions.

The AI tutor feature (available in paid courses) provides automated, AI-generated responses to your questions about course material. The AI tutor:

• Is not a substitute for professional instruction, tutoring, or advice
• May produce inaccurate or incomplete responses
• Has daily message limits
• Stores your conversation history to provide contextual responses (see our Privacy Policy for details)

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Educational content is for informational purposes and should not be considered professional advice.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that AI-generated content or AI tutor responses will be accurate, complete, or error-free, that the Service will meet your specific learning objectives, or that any completion records will be recognized by third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BDK Invest sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content or AI tutor responses.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your personal data (including learning progress, bookmarks, and chat history) will be permanently removed within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Poland. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also be entitled to invoke the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

13. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with ScrollMind, we encourage you to first contact us at the email below to attempt to resolve the issue informally. EU consumers may also submit complaints through the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
